Activists at UN Event Condemn Human Rights Abuses in Pakistan
In Geneva, during the 57th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, human rights defenders criticized Pakistan for severe human rights violations. Vermaut Andy shared the story of Ayesha, whose husband disappeared two years ago, one of 32,000 Pashtuns who have vanished. Naseem Baloch recounted similar experiences among the Baloch people, accusing Pakistan of an undeclared war against them, involving torture and extrajudicial killings.
