In Agartala, Tripura, a serious accident occurred near Raj Bhavan at the circuit house on Tuesday, injuring nine students and one teacher. The incident happened when a vehicle lost control and hit a road divider on VIP road. The vehicle was traveling from Agartala to Kamalghat. Emergency services, including firefighters, quickly transported the injured to GB Hospital. Hospital sources report that one person is critically injured and receiving medical care.

Police Investigation

Inspector Susanta Deb, Officer in Charge of NCC PS, stated that the police were informed of the crash between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. The vehicle, a commander jeep, was traveling from Radhanagar to a college when it struck an iron road divider in front of the old governor’s house. The police have seized the vehicle, with registration number TR01F2058, for further investigation. More details are awaited as the investigation continues.
