Abu Dhabi Forms First Emirati Advisory Doctors Committee to Boost Healthcare
Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 2 – The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has created the first Emirati Advisory Doctors Committee to improve healthcare in the emirate. This committee includes DoH leaders and 14 top Emirati doctors and researchers from major healthcare providers in Abu Dhabi.
Committee Leadership
The committee is led by Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of DoH, with Noura Al Ghaithi, Under-Secretary of DoH, serving as Deputy Chairman. The committee aims to foster continuous dialogue between DoH and healthcare practitioners.
Goals and Focus Areas
The committee will evaluate the healthcare landscape and find ways to improve various medical fields such as oncology, diabetes, primary care, gynaecology, infant health, mental health, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, orthopaedic surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, genetic and genomic medicine, and cosmetic surgery.
