Abhay K’s ‘Shunyata’ Art Exhibition Opens at Bihar Museum in Patna
An exhibition of paintings by poet, artist, and diplomat Abhay K. on the Buddhist philosophy of Shunyata opened on October 1 at Bihar Museum, Patna. The exhibition will run until October 10.

Artist’s Statement
Abhay K. expressed his pride in exhibiting his artwork in his home state of Bihar, where the philosophy of Shunyata originated. He emphasized the importance of understanding Shunyata as interdependence and the emptiness of a separate, fixed existence.
About Abhay K.
Abhay K. is a multifaceted individual, known as a poet, editor, translator, artist, and diplomat. He has authored several poetry collections and edited six books, including ‘The Book of Bihari Literature.’ His poems have been featured in over a hundred literary magazines worldwide, and his ‘Earth Anthem’ has been translated into over 160 languages. He has received the SAARC Literary Award and recorded his poems at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
Abhay K.’s translations of Kalidasa’s ‘Meghaduta’ and ‘Ritusamhara’ won him the KLF Poetry Book of the Year Award. His translation of the Magahi novel ‘Fool Bahadur’ has been published by Penguin Random House, India, as a modern classic. He has exhibited his paintings in various countries, including Russia, India, France, Brazil, and Madagascar.
