Abdullah Al-Buaijan Highlights Peace at Kozhikode Conference
In Kozhikode, Kerala, a significant peace conference was held with the theme “Islam is the religion of humanity and peace.” Abdullah Al-Buaijan, a preacher at Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque, was the Guest of Honour. He emphasized that Islam is a religion of peace and security, warning against divisions among Muslims, which he said could lead to chaos and wars.
Al-Buaijan stated, “Divisions and disunity tend to destroy nations and civilizations, threaten the entity of the nation and undermine its cohesion. This will lead to chaos and fuel for sedition and wars.” He highlighted that God forbade differences and disagreements, associating them with failure and weakness.
Kerala’s Minister for Waqf and Hajj, V Abdurahiman, praised Saudi Arabia for its efforts in promoting Islam and fostering peace and moderation. The conference, organized by Kerala Nadvatul Mujahideen, attracted over 50,000 Muslims and was broadcast widely, reaching more than four million viewers.
Sheikh Al-Buaijan also led the Maghrib and Isha prayers during the event. The Kerala Nadvatul Mujahideen is a socio-religious organization focused on societal development and reform, particularly for weaker sections of society.
