AAP Plans 45 Public Meetings for Haryana and Delhi Elections

Meeting Highlights

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a meeting to discuss strategies for the upcoming Haryana and Delhi Assembly elections. Rajya Sabha MP and senior party leader Sanjay Singh announced that the party aims to hold 45 public meetings in 15 days.

Key Announcements

Sanjay Singh stated, “Today, a meeting was held of party leaders and discussions were held on how the party will start its campaign at the booth level. We will provide information about announcements related to electricity, water, education, and the scheme of giving Rs 1000 to women.”

He also mentioned that the party has started public meetings in Haryana and will launch Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘guarantee card’ in the state.

Criticism of BJP

Sanjay Singh criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the incarceration of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the liquor policy case. He alleged that Kejriwal is being punished for working for the people of Delhi.

“Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level has gone below 50 several times. Despite this, Arvind Kejriwal is not being released from jail. Arvind Kejriwal is being punished for working for the people of Delhi. A fake CBI case has been lodged against him. Aam Aadmi Party will also convey this issue to the people through its campaign and public meetings,” he added.

Attendees

The meeting was attended by AAP Delhi convener Gopal Rai, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha.

Upcoming Elections

The Haryana assembly election is scheduled to be held later this year. The BJP has been in power in the state since 2014 but will face strong competition from the Congress. The assembly election in Delhi will be held next year, where AAP aims to win its fourth straight term in power.
