AAP MP Sanjay Singh Criticizes BJP Over Arvind Kejriwal’s Arrest
AAP MP Sanjay Singh launched a strong criticism against BJP, stating that Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest was an attempt to end the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and engage in horse-trading. However, he claimed that BJP failed in their goals.
Speaking to the media, Singh expressed confidence that the people of Delhi will decide on the honesty or guilt of the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal. He believes Kejriwal will receive a ‘certificate’ of honesty from the public, just as he did in previous Assembly elections where he won 67 and 62 seats.
Singh highlighted Kejriwal’s contributions to Delhi, including free education, free electricity, and free medical care, which led to a budget surplus. He challenged BJP to name any state they govern that offers similar benefits.
Singh also expressed his belief that BJP can be defeated in the upcoming Assembly elections, despite their previous victories in Lok Sabha elections. He noted that BJP has been defeated in Delhi Assembly elections before.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation and called for early Delhi Assembly elections to be held alongside Maharashtra Assembly polls.
