AAP Leader Atishi Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Manish Sisodia

AAP leader and Delhi minister Atishi celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Atishi shared photographs on social media, expressing how special this year’s Rakhi was for her.

She wrote, “A thread of Rakhi binds relationships. This year the festival of Raksha Bandhan was even more special because I celebrated it with my elder brother Manish ji. Some glimpses of the happiness of this festival of Rakshabandhan…”

Manish Sisodia also shared an emotional post, recalling last year’s Raksha Bandhan when he was in jail and could not celebrate with his family. He expressed his joy of being able to celebrate this year with his family, thanks to the blessings of millions of sisters.

“Last year I celebrated Rakshabandhan alone in jail. I was a little saddened that I could not celebrate this festival with my family. But this year, with the blessings of millions of sisters, I got released just before Raksha Bandhan so that I could celebrate it with my family,” said Sisodia. He added, “Heartfelt thanks for the prayers of all the sisters and a very Happy Rakshabandhan to all of you.”

Earlier, Sisodia mentioned that the people of Delhi are praying for the release of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain. He praised Kejriwal’s contributions to Delhi, including building schools, providing free electricity, free treatment in government hospitals, and free travel for women in DTC buses.

“Arvind Kejriwal is famous in the whole country for building schools. He is the only CM who made the electricity bill zero for the people. He started free treatment in government hospitals…He made travel in DTC buses free for women. He has been CM for 10 years and he did what BJP CMs were not able to do in their tenure of 10 years…That’s why they (BJP) have put him in jail…I have complete faith that Arvind Kejriwal will be out of jail soon,” Sisodia added.
