Haryana, India – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its second list of nine candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. The announcement was made by Sandeep Pathak, National General Secretary Organization of AAP.

This announcement came shortly after BJP leaders Sunil Rao and Satish Yadav joined AAP in the presence of AAP Haryana unit chief Sushil Gupta and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.

Statements from AAP Leaders

Sushil Gupta welcomed the new members, stating, “They are joining AAP with strength and I wish them a brighter future. Today, they decided in Rewari to join AAP and move ahead on the policies of Arvind Kejriwal…I welcome all of them. I assure them that they will get respect here.”

MP Sanjay Singh highlighted that Sunil Rao, who joined AAP, is the brother-in-law of film actor Rajkumar Rao. He emphasized that AAP will implement Arvind Kejriwal’s five guarantees in Haryana, which include free education, free medical treatment, and employment for youth.

Gupta also mentioned that AAP and Arvind Kejriwal are emerging as a strong alternative in Haryana, focusing on employment, drug-free and corruption-free governance, and respect for farmers.

Election Dates

The last date for filing nominations is September 12. Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, with votes being counted on October 8 along with those in Jammu and Kashmir.
