Aaditya Thackeray Meets Governor Ramesh Bais Over MH-CET Issues

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray met with Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais to discuss the problems surrounding the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET). Thackeray asked for the release of students’ answer sheets and marks, accountability for 54 mistakes in the test options, and a full refund for those who raised 1,425 objections.

Thackeray also requested the Governor to hold the Mumbai University Senate elections as soon as possible. He was accompanied by Pradeep Sawant and Rajan Kolambekar.

MH-CET is an exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to undergraduate engineering courses. It includes multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

Meanwhile, amidst allegations of paper leaks in the NEET exams, NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule criticized the government and announced plans to raise the issue in Parliament. The Education Ministry has formed a high-level committee led by former ISRO chairman Dr. K Radhakrishnan to recommend reforms for the National Testing Agency (NTA). The committee will submit its report within two months.
