Oshada Fernando Returns to Sri Lanka’s Test Squad for New Zealand Series
Oshada Fernando is back in Sri Lanka’s Test squad after 18 months, replacing Nishan Madushka for the two-match series against New Zealand. Oshada’s return follows his strong performance with the A team in South Africa.
Despite his return, he may not make the playing XI due to the presence of established players like Dimuth Karunaratne, Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya de Silva, and Kamindu Mendis.
The series will be held in Galle, with the first Test starting on Wednesday and the second on September 26.
