Harpal Singh Cheema Criticizes BJP and Supports Arvind Kejriwal
Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], September 16: Aam Aadmi Party leader and Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), calling it a party of dictatorship and claiming democracy is absent within it. Cheema stated that the BJP often sidelines experienced candidates in favor of less experienced ones.
Cheema further asserted that the people of Haryana have already decided and that the BJP will lose in the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls.
Speaking on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation statement, Cheema said that this move was to show that people have the highest power in democracy. He explained that Kejriwal is asking the people to vote for him if they believe he is innocent, or otherwise vote for someone else. Cheema added that Kejriwal has become an example in politics and has worked for the poor, increasing his respect among the people.
