Fire at Delhi Shoe Factory: All Workers Safe, Says Officer A.K. Jaiswal

A fire broke out at a shoe factory on Lawrence Road in Delhi. Divisional Fire Officer A.K. Jaiswal confirmed that all workers were evacuated safely. The fire, caused by a 20-litre chemical adhesive, led to continuous blasts. Nineteen fire tenders were deployed to control the situation. The ceiling of the first floor collapsed, complicating firefighting efforts. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, partly due to the holiday reducing the number of workers present.
