PM Modi’s Visit to Jharkhand: New Houses and Vande Bharat Trains
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on September 15, bringing several gifts for the state. Speaking to reporters, Chouhan said, “Prime Minister Modi is visiting the state tomorrow, on September 15 and is bringing many gifts for the state.”
PM Modi will release the first installment of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for building permanent houses for the poor in Jharkhand. He will issue approval letters for rural and urban residents, with 1,13,000 houses approved for the state. Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate six Vande Bharat trains by flagging them off.
Chouhan described the enthusiasm among the people, saying, “Despite heavy rains, there is immense enthusiasm among the people for the visit of the Prime Minister and the people of Jharkhand are going to come tomorrow to meet and listen to the Prime Minister.”
PM Modi’s visit will also include trips to Gujarat and Odisha from September 15 to 17. In Jharkhand, he will flag off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat train at Tatanagar Junction Railway Station. He will distribute sanction letters to 20,000 Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) beneficiaries and release the first installment of assistance. He will also participate in the Griha Pravesh celebrations of 46,000 beneficiaries.
On September 16, PM Modi will interact with beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in Gandhinagar. On September 17, he will travel to Odisha to interact with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth more than Rs. 3800 crores in Bhubaneswar. He will also launch the Operational Guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0.
