Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 11: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray criticized the BJP and Mahayuti government, calling them ‘anti-Maharashtra.’ He claimed that the lack of investment opportunities in the state is causing unemployment and helplessness among the youth. ‘They’re crushing the pride and spirit of Maharashtra,’ Thackeray said.

Thackeray compared Maharashtra to Gujarat, highlighting the Vibrant Gujarat summit and the promotion of GIFT (Gujarat International Finance Tec) City. He pointed out that the ‘Magnetic Maharashtra’ event has not been held since the current government took over, unlike Tamil Nadu, which successfully organized a similar event.

Thackeray also mentioned a recent raid on Mercedes Benz by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), which he claimed created major trouble in the industry. He questioned the legality of the MPCB chairman and criticized the board’s actions as bullying tactics.

Additionally, Thackeray accused Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal of promoting Gujarat’s GIFT City over Maharashtra’s financial hubs, despite being elected by Mumbaikars. Thackeray emphasized that this neglect is leading to unemployment and a loss of self-confidence among Maharashtra’s youth.
