Union Minister Piyush Goyal Launches Trade Connect e-Platform

New Delhi [India], September 11: Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, launched the Trade Connect e-Platform to help Indian exporters, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs. This platform will connect them with various stakeholders, including Indian Missions Abroad, Export Promotion Councils, and other Partner Government Agencies.

The platform will provide information on trade events worldwide, benefits from India’s Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and other international trade-related data. During the launch, Goyal expressed his delight, saying, “Truly delighted to see the baby taking birth after months of hard work collectively put in by the entire team.”

Goyal highlighted the importance of technology in achieving the Viksit Bharat mission by 2047, stating, “Digital focus and new technologies are being used for faster and better implementation of policies.” He emphasized the need to work three times faster and more effectively to deliver better services and good governance.
