Agartala (Tripura) [India], September 10: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed his gratitude to various organizations and individuals who have donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support those affected by the recent floods in the state.
In the wake of the floods, numerous entities, including banks, social organizations, and other groups, have come forward to contribute to the relief fund. The financial aid is being deposited daily, showcasing a strong humanitarian response from the community.

Impact of the Floods
Since August 19, continuous rainfall and unprecedented floods have resulted in the loss of 31 lives and displaced over 72,000 people. The district administration has set up 492 relief camps to provide shelter to those affected. Additionally, clothing has been distributed to around 300 people in the Amarpur and Karbook sub-divisions.
