CBI Investigates Clerk and Hospital Representative in Jaipur for Corruption
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against a Lower Division Clerk (LDC) from the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) in Jaipur and a representative from an Ajmer-based private hospital. They are accused of abusing their positions to obtain illegal payments from hospitals seeking to join the CGHS network.
The case was initiated following a complaint from the Additional Director of CGHS, Jaipur. According to the CBI, the accused LDC conspired with others to misuse his official position for personal gain.
Searches were conducted at three locations in Jaipur and Ajmer, leading to the discovery of incriminating documents. The investigation is still ongoing.
