Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Visit India

New Delhi [India], September 7: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be on an official visit to India on September 9-10 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be his first visit to India as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

He will be accompanied by several Ministers from the UAE government and a business delegation. On September 9, the Crown Prince will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various areas of bilateral cooperation. He is also scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu and visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

On September 10, the Crown Prince will visit Mumbai to participate in a Business Forum with business leaders from both countries.

India and UAE share historically close and friendly ties. In recent years, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries has deepened in areas such as politics, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. The Crown Prince’s visit aims to further strengthen these relations and explore new areas of partnership.

In February, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the UAE and held discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They witnessed the exchange of eight agreements and endorsed efforts to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation. PM Modi also inaugurated the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi and addressed the Indian diaspora at an event titled ‘Ahlan Modi’.
