Imran Khan’s PTI Rally Venue Changed in Islamabad

The Islamabad district administration has changed the venue for Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally on September 8. Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz issued a new NOC, relocating the event to a site opposite the original venue in Sangjani.

PTI leader Aamir Mughal, along with senior party members, visited the new location and confirmed that the rally will proceed as planned. Mughal stated that the government’s actions show their fear of PTI’s public influence and that no force can obstruct the party’s power show.

The district administration has granted permission for the rally with conditions. The rally is allowed only from 4pm-7pm (local time) and must not cause disruptions to public movement. Organizers are responsible for the security of rally participants.

Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz mentioned that the route for the rally is designed to minimize inconvenience to the public. Specific routes are designated for attendees from different regions, including Motorway M1 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa convoys and Motorway M2 for those from Punjab.
