Search for ‘Man-Eater’ Wolves in Bahraich: Forest Department Intensifies Efforts
In Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, the search for ‘man-eater’ wolves has intensified. The affected area of 30-35 kilometers has been divided into four sectors, with 165 forest personnel, including senior officers, conducting continuous monitoring operations.
Coordination and Night Patrols
The Forest Department, Police Department, and District Administration have established coordination to conduct night patrols in affected areas, resulting in no incidents at night.

General Manager of the Forest Department, Sanjay Pathak, stated that forest officials and other officials have been on alert after casualties were reported. Drones and cameras are being used to catch and track the wolves. Four wolves have been caught so far.

Wolf expert Doctor Khan, who has extensive knowledge of wolf ecology and biology, has also been involved in the operation.
