India and Singapore Sign Important Agreements on Technology, Health, and Skills

India and Singapore have signed four important agreements to work together on digital technologies, semiconductors, health cooperation, and skill development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Singapore, met with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. The agreements aim to enhance cooperation in areas like cybersecurity, 5G, healthcare, and vocational training. These efforts will help both countries grow stronger together.

Digital Technologies

The first agreement was signed between India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and Information. This will help both countries work together on digital technologies like cybersecurity, 5G, and artificial intelligence.

Semiconductors

The second agreement focuses on semiconductors. It was signed by India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry. This will help both countries develop semiconductor technology and attract investments.

Health Cooperation

The third agreement was signed between India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Singapore’s Ministry of Health. This will help both countries work together on healthcare research and innovation.

Skill Development

The fourth agreement was signed between India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Singapore’s Ministry of Education. This will help both countries improve technical and vocational education and training.

Prime Minister Modi also signed the visitors book at the Parliament House and met with various ministers and delegates. He has many more engagements planned during his visit to Singapore.
