Christoph Schnellmann Discusses Progress at Noida International Airport

Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, shared updates on the development of the cargo terminal and multimodal cargo hub in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The facility, built in partnership with Air India SATS, will handle over one lakh tonnes of cargo. Schnellmann also mentioned the ongoing work on the passenger terminal and plans to apply for an aerodrome license this year.

The airport, whose foundation was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2021, is expected to be operational later this year. It is strategically located about 72 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport, 52 km from Noida, 130 km from Agra, and 90 km from the Multi-Modal Logistics Hub at Dadri.
