The campaign suggested that Harris is afraid to interview alone. Harris and Minnesota Governor Walz will be interviewed by CNN’s Dana Bash on Thursday at 9 pm EDT.
The Trump War Room shared a post on X, stating, “It’s no coincidence that Kamala’s first interview is scheduled for the Thursday night before Labor Day weekend. They already hope it gets lost — and it hasn’t even aired yet.” They further claimed that Harris is scared to do an interview alone and that the interview is pre-taped to allow for edits.
In another post, the Trump War Room mentioned that Harris has finally agreed to a joint interview after 39 days of avoiding reporters. They urged Dana Bash to ask Harris ten specific questions during the interview, covering topics like housing affordability, Medicare-for-All, the Green New Deal, border security, and police funding.
Harris was nominated as the Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race due to concerns over his age. If elected, the 59-year-old Harris would become the first woman in history to become the US president and only the second woman ever nominated for the presidency by a major political party.
