Delhi High Court Stops Bail for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Money Case

The Delhi High Court has paused the trial court’s decision to grant bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) challenged the bail, arguing that the trial court did not provide enough hearing time and overlooked key legal conditions.

Kejriwal was arrested in March and had been granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in May. The High Court will decide on the ED’s plea in two to three days.
