Rohtak (Haryana) [India], August 26: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed comments made by former Deputy CM and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala against the BJP. Saini claimed that the Congress wants to end the JJP and urged Chautala to stay strong and not align with Congress leader Deepender Hooda.

Saini expressed confidence that the BJP would win the upcoming state assembly elections with a full majority, stating that the public has decided to form a BJP government for the third time. He highlighted the BJP’s efforts under PM Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the empowerment of women and unbiased governance.

In an earlier interview, Chautala assured that he would not join the BJP and viewed the recent electoral losses as an opportunity. He mentioned that the JJP was a kingmaker in the last assembly polls and could become the most important political party in Haryana. Chautala also discussed the possibility of allying with the INDIA alliance if the JJP is prioritized.

After the last assembly elections, the BJP formed the government with the support of 10 JJP MLAs. However, in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the JJP received only 0.87% of the vote share and did not win any seats. Chautala reflected on his experience with the NDA alliance, stating that respect is crucial for future alliances.
