New Delhi, India – August 23, 2024: M. Suresh has been given the additional charge of Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) starting August 20, 2024. He will hold this position for three months or until further orders, while continuing his role as Member (Air Navigation Services).

M. Suresh has been a valued Board Member of AAI since September 2, 2021. He is an Engineering Graduate in Electronics and Communication and holds a Master of Business Administration (HR) and an International Airport Professional (IAP) degree.

With over 33 years of experience, Suresh has held various important positions such as Member (ANS), Regional Executive Director (North East Region), and Airport Director at Goa, Jammu, and Madurai Airports. He is an expert in Air Navigation Services and has been instrumental in implementing several key projects like NOCAS Version-2, SKY REV 360, and the Biometric Access Control project.

In his new role as Chairman, Suresh will lead efforts to achieve AAI’s goals of providing world-class airport infrastructure and top-notch air navigation services.
