Norwegian, Swedish, and Chinese Ambassadors Wish India on 78th Independence Day

On India’s 78th Independence Day, Norwegian Ambassador to India, May-Elin Stener, extended her wishes through a video message. She said, “Happy Independence Day India! With love from Norway!” and also conveyed greetings in Hindi.

Swedish Ambassador to India, Jan Thesleff, also sent his best wishes. He emphasized the strong and cordial relations between India and Sweden, which benefit both nations. Thesleff announced that Sweden Day would be celebrated in September, focusing on sustainability.

Chinese Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, shared pictures of the flag hoisting at Red Fort and congratulated India. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, marking his 11th consecutive Independence Day address.

This year’s Independence Day theme is ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, aiming to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
