Sreejesh, a veteran with 328 international caps, has participated in three Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Cups. He debuted at the 2010 World Cup and has been part of many memorable victories, including a gold medal in the 2014 Asian Games and a bronze in Jakarta-Palembang. He was also part of the joint-winning team of the 2018 Asian Champions Trophy and the gold medal-winning team of the 2019 FIH Men’s Series Finals in Bhubaneswar. Sreejesh played a crucial role in India’s historic bronze medal win at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and their third-place finish at the FIH Hockey Pro League 2021/22.

In 2021, Sreejesh received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award and became the second Indian sportsperson to win the World Games Athlete of the Year award. He also won back-to-back FIH Goalkeeper of the Year awards in 2021 and 2022. Last year, he was instrumental in India’s gold medal-winning campaign at the Asian Games, securing the team’s spot for Paris 2024.
