China and USA Shine in Paris Olympics Swimming Relays, India Shows Promise

China secured the gold medal in the men’s 4x100m medley relay at the Paris Olympics with a time of 3:27.46. The USA came in second with 3:28.01, and France took bronze with 3:28.38.

In the women’s 4x100m medley relay, the USA won gold, setting a new world record with a time of 3:49.63. Australia earned silver with 3:53.11, and China took bronze with 3:53.23.

India’s campaign saw young swimmer Dhinidhi Desinghu, the youngest team member at 14, clocking 2:06.96 in the women’s 200m freestyle, finishing 23rd overall. Srihari Nataraj competed in the men’s 100m backstroke, finishing 33rd with a time of 55.01.

Despite not advancing, both swimmers showed promise for the future.
