Tragic Bus and Car Collision in Etawah: 7 Dead, Many Injured
In Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, a terrible accident happened early Sunday morning. A double-decker bus traveling from Raebareli to Delhi collided with a car heading to Lucknow. The crash occurred around 12:30 am, and sadly, seven people lost their lives.
Details of the Incident
Senior Superintendent of Police, Sanjay Kumar Verma, explained that the car driver fell asleep while driving, leading to the collision. The bus had 60 passengers, four of whom died. Additionally, 20 to 25 people were injured and have been taken to the hospital. Three people in the car also died.
Government’s Response
The government is making sure that the injured receive the best possible treatment. Rescue operations are ongoing to help the remaining passengers reach their destinations safely.
Previous Incident in Bareilly
Just a few days earlier, on July 31, another tragic accident occurred in Bareilly. Three people died, and one was critically injured when their car collided with a mini-truck late at night. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the district hospital.
