Shivpal Yadav Condemns Ayodhya Incident, Accuses BJP of Politics
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 3: Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav condemned the Ayodhya gang rape incident and accused the BJP of politicizing it due to their loss in Ayodhya. He stated, “First of all, I condemn this incident. Our Samajwadi Party spokesperson, Pawan Pandey has said that a narco test should be done. I would say that all the people of the BJP who are doing politics should undergo a narco test.”
Yadav warned his party members to be cautious during by-elections, suggesting that the BJP might create more such incidents. He accused the BJP of trying to defame the Samajwadi Party.
Earlier, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla accused Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav of protecting SP leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the gang rape of a minor girl. Poonawalla claimed that Akhilesh Yadav was ignoring the interests of the PDA (Pichda, Dalit, Adivasi) community to protect Moeed Khan.
Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav called for DNA tests on the accused to ensure justice for the victim. He emphasized that those guilty should be punished according to the law, and if allegations are proven false, government officials involved should also be held accountable.
