Speeding Cars Cause Accidents in Mumbai and Virar: Injuries and a Tragic Loss
In Mumbai, a speeding car hit three bikes, injuring one person. The incident occurred at around 1:00 AM, and the driver, Alpesh Vivek Indulkar, was found to be drunk. The injured person, 19-year-old Shyam Satish Gaikwad, was taken to Ambedkar Hospital for treatment. Indulkar was arrested, and his Tata Nexon car was seized.
In a separate incident in Virar, a 46-year-old woman named Atmja Kasat lost her life after being hit by a speeding car. Kasat, a teacher at Utkarsh Junior College, was passing in front of Muljibhai Mehta School when she was struck by a car driven by Shubham Patil. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, Kasat succumbed to her injuries. Patil was arrested by the Arnala Sagari police.
