Swapnil Kusale Wins Bronze in Paris Olympics, Praised by Abhinav Bindra
Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale made history by winning a bronze medal in the men’s 50m rifle 3P event at the Paris Olympics. This achievement marks the first time an Indian has won a medal in this event.

Kusale finished third in the final with a score of 451.4, securing India’s third overall medal in shooting at the Paris Olympics. In the qualification round, Kusale placed seventh with a score of 590-38x, while fellow Indian shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar ranked 11th with a score of 589-33x.
Additionally, Indian shooter Manu Bhaker won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event, becoming the first Indian woman in 20 years to reach a shooting final in an individual event at the Olympics since Suma Shirur in 2004. Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh also won a bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
