Nita Ambani Honors Sarabjot Singh and Manu Bhaker for Winning Bronze at Paris Olympics

International Olympic Committee member Nita Ambani felicitated Sarabjot Singh and Manu Bhaker for their outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics. The duo secured India’s second bronze medal by defeating South Korea’s Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin 16-10 in the bronze medal play-off match.

Both shooters consistently hit regular 10s to claim the medal. Nita Ambani, CEO & Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, honored Sarabjot at the first-ever India House at the Olympics. She expressed her pride and congratulated all athletes present, quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “There are no losers in sport. There are only winners and learners.”

Prime Minister Modi also congratulated Sarabjot and Manu, praising their teamwork. Sarabjot explained that they have been playing together since 2019, which contributed to their success.

Manu Bhaker made history by becoming the first Indian woman to win two medals at the same Olympics, including a bronze in the women’s individual 10m air pistol event. This achievement marked a significant milestone for India in the Summer Games.

Other Indian athletes present at the event included Arjun Babuta, Harmeet Desai, Elavenil Valarivan, Arjun Singh Cheema, Rhythm Sangwan, Sharath Kamal, G. Sathiyan, Sumit Nagal, Rohan Bopanna, Sriram Balaji, and Srihari Nataraj.
