Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has started testing smart inspection vehicles to monitor rail right-of-way areas for the Dubai Metro and Tram networks. These vehicles use advanced intelligence systems and cameras to detect violations and damage.

Abdulrahman Al Janahi, Director of Rail Right of Way at RTA, highlighted that this initiative aims to improve inspection efficiency, ensure safety, and reduce human errors. The project is part of RTA’s commitment to using smart solutions for better infrastructure safety.
