Sunita Kejriwal Speaks Out on Arvind Kejriwal’s Health and Jail Conditions

Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, spoke about her husband’s health issues, claiming they were neglected as part of a conspiracy. She was joined by Delhi Minister Gopal Rai, NCP-SCP chief Sharad Pawar, and CPI General Secretary D Raja at the INDIA bloc protest at Jantar Mantar.

Sunita Kejriwal revealed that Arvind Kejriwal has been suffering from diabetes for 22 years and requires insulin to manage his condition. She stated, “When he went to jail, he was not given insulin. We had to go to court to get his insulin. His illness was ignored as part of the conspiracy.”

She explained that a sensor on the Chief Minister’s hand monitors his sugar levels, and a graph records the readings. She added, “A few days ago, we found out that his sugar level in jail was continuously down and even went below 50 at night. Thank God no untoward incident happened, but his life is in danger.”

Sunita Kejriwal also criticized Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, saying, “The Lieutenant Governor alleges that the Chief Minister is deliberately eating less. Is it a joke? Is he putting his own life in danger? This is not a dictatorship. This is a conspiracy.”

She accused the BJP of trying to defame the Chief Minister and said, “What have BJP MPs done for the people of Delhi? They just want to stop the work of Delhiites. But your CM and Delhi’s CM is not afraid. He will fight for everyone.”

Meanwhile, the Rouse Avenue Court has scheduled August 12 to consider the supplementary chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against Arvind Kejriwal and five others in connection with the excise policy case.
