Train Derails Near Jharkhand’s Chakradharpur: Six Injured
West Singhbhum (Jharkhand), July 30: Early Tuesday morning, several coaches of the Howrah-CSMT Express derailed near Chakradharpur, Jharkhand, injuring six people. The accident happened around 3:45 am.
Accident Relief Medical Equipment (ARME) and Additional Divisional Railway Managers from Chakradharpur Railway Station quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation. According to Indian Railways, five passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated on the spot, while one passenger was hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.
All injured passengers received first aid from the railway medical team. Additional arrangements and trains have been organized for the passengers at Chakradharpur station. Relief and rescue operations are ongoing.
