In a tragic incident, three students lost their lives due to flooding in the basement of Rau’s IAS Study Circle in Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar. The Delhi Police have arrested the owner, Abhishek Gupta, and the coordinator, Deshpal Singh, on charges of culpable homicide and negligence.

The coaching institution has stated that it is fully committed to supporting the ongoing investigations. They expressed their condolences to the families of the deceased students, Tanya Soni from Telangana, Nivin Dalwin from Kerala’s Ernakulam, and Shreya Yadav from Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh.

Deputy Commissioner of Police M Harsha Vardhan confirmed that an FIR has been registered at Rajinder Nagar Police Station under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The investigation is ongoing, and the coaching centre is cooperating fully with the authorities.

Meanwhile, students are holding massive protests in Delhi’s Old Rajinder Nagar area, demanding immediate action against the authorities over the incident.
