Pune Porsche Crash: Police File 900-Page Charge Sheet

Pune city police have submitted a 900-page charge sheet to the Pune district court regarding the ‘Pune Porsche crash’ case. The case involves a minor who allegedly drove a Porsche while intoxicated, resulting in the deaths of two IT professionals on May 19 in Kalyani Nagar, Pune.

The charge sheet accuses the minor’s parents and doctors from Sassoon Hospital of tampering with evidence and manipulating the blood sample. The minor was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) under lenient terms, including writing a 300-word essay on road safety, which caused nationwide outrage.

The Women and Child Development Department has formed a panel to investigate the JJB’s conduct in granting bail. The minor’s essay was to emphasize responsible driving and the consequences of reckless behavior.

In another incident earlier in the month, a woman was killed in Mumbai’s Worli area after a luxury car crashed into the bike she was riding with her husband, who also sustained injuries.

Additionally, a road rage incident in Pune involved a 27-year-old woman being assaulted by a car driver on Baner-Pashan Road, leaving her with severe injuries.
