Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Praises Union Budget 2024-25

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed his approval of the Union budget 2024-25, highlighting its focus on uplifting youth, women, farmers, and the poor. He emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring that no area of Rajasthan remains untouched by development.

Key Achievements and Promises

CM Sharma noted that approximately 45% of the promises made in the Sankalp Patra have been fulfilled. The government has implemented several public welfare measures, including:

  • A bonus of Rs 125 on the MSP of wheat, raising it to Rs 2,400 per quintal.
  • Increasing the amount payable under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000.
  • A 15% increase in social security pensions.
  • A 10% increase in the honorarium for Panchayati Raj, urban bodies, and Anganwadi workers.

He assured that similar public welfare decisions will be taken in the future.

Praise for PM Modi

CM Sharma praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts to bring revolutionary changes to the country since 2014. He commended PM Modi’s initiatives such as the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign. He also mentioned the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, encouraging people to plant a tree in the name of their mother.

Development Projects

The budget includes several development projects for Kota, Beawar, and Jaitaran. In Jaitaran, projects include road improvements and the construction of a 220 KV GSS. In Beawar, a Scheduled Caste Hostel will be opened. In Kota, a Green Field Airport will be constructed, and the National Chambal Gharial Sanctuary-Kota will be marked as an Eco-Sensitive Zone.

Commitment to Public Welfare

CM Sharma concluded by emphasizing the state government’s commitment to the upliftment of the most marginalized individuals, following the resolution of Antyodaya by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay. He called on everyone to fulfill their responsibilities and help the needy access welfare schemes.
