New Delhi [India], July 24: Union Minister of State for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal, praised this year’s budget for its comprehensive approach to justice delivery during a webinar titled ‘Budgetary Schemes for 2024-25: Strengthening Justice Delivery–Strengthening India’.

Key Areas of Focus

Meghwal highlighted four main areas:

  • Judicial infrastructure
  • DISHA (Designative Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice)
  • e-Courts projects
  • Fast Track Special Courts Scheme

He stated that the budget aims to support the Ministry of Law and Justice’s initiatives and should be viewed in the context of Viksit Bharat 2047, which aims for timely justice for all.
