Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Other Leaders Visit Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati
The Governor of Telangana and Jharkhand, CP Radhakrishnan, visited the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday. He offered prayers for world peace and highlighted the temple’s cultural importance for the Telugu people.
CP Radhakrishnan said, “Prayers were held to strengthen world peace so that humanity can live in peace. May Lord Venkateswara bless all of us. Whenever we visit Tirumala Tirupati, it always reflects the culture of Telugus. I hope he blesses all of us.”
Tirumala is a spiritual hill town in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, known for the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, a popular shrine dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu.
Other notable visitors to the temple include Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, who visited last week to pray for the happiness and prosperity of the people of India. Sri Lankan Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs, and Constitutional Reforms, Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, visited the temple with his family on June 30. Union Heavy Industries and Steel Minister HD Kumaraswamy also offered prayers at the temple on June 15, seeking blessings for his work in the Union Government.
The Tirupati Balaji Temple is one of the most sacred sites, symbolizing faith, culture, heritage, and spirituality. It is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, who is believed to save mankind from the trials and troubles of Kali Yuga.
