In Nadia, West Bengal, the rear guard bogie of a goods train derailed during internal shunting in the Ranaghat yard. The Eastern Railways confirmed that train movement on the Sealdah-Ranaghat route remains normal. The brake van was quickly rerailed, causing no traffic disruption.

Earlier, a freight train traveling from Alwar Goods Station to Rewari derailed on the Mathura track in Rajasthan at around 2:30 AM. Railway authorities are investigating the cause, and rescue operations are underway.

Additionally, seven coaches of a goods train derailed between Ghaziabad and Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Railway officials are working to restore normalcy, and train movement has not been significantly affected.
