New Delhi, India – The All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) and National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) issued a joint statement on Sunday in response to comments made by non-railway organizations about Indian Railways.

The unions expressed their disapproval of these statements, stating that they could create fear and apprehension among the public. They emphasized that AIRF and NFIR are the true representatives of railway employees, committed to addressing their concerns and ensuring safe railway operations.

The federations are actively discussing staff issues with railway officers to find mutually acceptable solutions. They highlighted the complexity of the railway system, which employs 12 lakh people, and urged outsiders to understand this complexity before making adverse comments.

The federations called for constructive assistance from individuals and organizations for the overall good of the nation.
