The Indian embassy in Kuwait has expressed deep condolences for the tragic death of Mr. Mathews Mulackal, his wife, and their two children in a fire at their flat in Abassiya. The embassy posted on X, stating, “Embassy @indembkwt expresses its deepest condolences on the tragic demise of Mr Mathews Mulackal, his wife and 2 children due to fire in his flat in Abassiya yesterday night.”
The embassy assured that they are in touch with the family and will ensure the early repatriation of the mortal remains.

Earlier in June, a fire at a labor accommodation in Mangaf, Kuwait, resulted in the deaths of 45 Indians. The victims included individuals from various Indian states, with 23 from Kerala.
