Wall Collapse at Shri Narayan School in Vadodara Injures One Student
On Friday, a wall in Shri Narayan School, located on Waghodiya Road in Vadodara, Gujarat, collapsed around 12:30 pm. The incident resulted in one student sustaining minor injuries.
Details of the Incident
The wall collapse occurred during recess when only 2-3 students were present in the classroom. Principal Rupal Shah stated, “Around 12:30 p.m., the incident happened. A loud voice came, after which we rushed to the spot. One student got injured in the head. We immediately rescued all the students.”

Local resident Sanskriti Pandya mentioned, “It happened around 12:30 pm. The wall of the entire floor collapsed. Although not many have been injured. The school’s building is 14-15 years old. My father also took many kids to the hospital. The school authorities know that the building is weak, yet no action has been taken.”
Fire Brigade’s Response
Sub-Fire Officer Vinod Mohite reported that one student sustained minor injuries and 12-13 bicycles parked near the wall were damaged. The fire brigade inspected the site immediately after receiving information about the incident.
