Tirupati MP M Gurumoorthy Condemns Attack on Rajampet MP Peddireddy Midhun Reddy

Tirupati MP M Gurumoorthy has strongly condemned the attack on Rajampet MP Peddireddy Midhun Reddy. The incident occurred when Midhun Reddy was visiting the residence of former MP Reddeppa in Punganur and was allegedly attacked by ruling TDP workers.

Both Gurumoorthy and Midhun Reddy are leaders of the YSR Congress Party. Gurumoorthy described the attack as ‘highly shameful’ and called for immediate government action to ensure the safety of elected representatives. He questioned the government’s ability to protect ordinary party workers if they cannot safeguard an MP.

Gurumoorthy also criticized the police for not intervening during the attack and expressed concern over the increasing violence against political leaders and workers. He warned that power is not permanent and urged the ruling party leaders to take corrective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
