An explosion occurred at a scrap warehouse in the Adhartal Industrial Area of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, around 10 am on Thursday. The blast resulted in one person being injured, who later died at the hospital.

Details of the Incident

According to Aditya Pratap Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Jabalpur, the explosion happened while around 10 people were working in the warehouse. The injured person was taken to Tilwara medical hospital but unfortunately did not survive.

Investigation Underway

The police have taken the warehouse owners, Kapil Jain and Sunil Jain, into custody for questioning. Initial reports suggest that the explosion was caused by ammunition boxes purchased from a vendor in Raipur. The Bomb Disposal Squad is currently examining the site, and further investigations are ongoing.
