New Delhi [India], July 17: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047, aimed at the state’s long-term development.

Key Areas of Development

Chief Minister Sai informed that the state government has identified eight key areas for development. A working committee has been formed to accelerate progress in these areas, regularly consulting with the public and experts to create an effective action plan.

Actions Against Maoists

Sai also updated the Home Minister on the state’s efforts to combat Maoist activities, including dismantling their financial networks and expanding infrastructure in affected areas. Special campaigns for education and health services are being conducted in these regions.

Support from the Central Government

Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated the Chhattisgarh Government’s efforts and assured full support from the Central Government to maintain peace and stability in the state.

Meeting with Railways Minister

Earlier, Chief Minister Sai, along with Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, met Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss new rail lines in Chhattisgarh. Sai expressed optimism about the state’s railway development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, expecting four new rail lines in the future.
